Return to the Residence Halls

Your residence hall is your niche. Your space. Your home away from home. You belong here in the heart of the WVU experience, close to everything, with 24/7 support and no utility bills or landlords to worry about.

We know the importance of convenience and living in a residence hall saves you time (no need to cook, clean or search for a parking spot). That's why we're inviting returning students — sophomores, juniors and seniors — to live in a residence hall again in 2023-2024.

Avoid the hassle of moving off-campus. Pay your deposit ($225) online and you can select your space and roommate! Apply now for the best options.

If you would prefer apartment living, but still want the security and convenience of staying on-campus, consider a University Apartment – College Park, University Park, University Place and Vandalia Apartments.

And if you change your mind about living in a residence hall and decide to sign a lease for an apartment before the June 1 cancellation deadline, you will receive a partial refund of the housing deposit. After the cancellation deadline, no refunds will be issued and your WVU residence hall contract is binding (as long as you are registered as a WVU student). Questions? Just call 304-293-2811 or send an email to wvu-assign@mail.wvu.edu.

The Fine Print

You may return to any residence hall with the exception of Lincoln and Honors Halls, as those are reserved exclusively for incoming, first-year students in the Honors College.
